This is Genuine Damascus steel that uses 256 folds. This knife is hand crafted and each one is unique.

Damascus steel also known as Wootz is characterized by distinctive streaked appearance patterns of banding and mottling caused by varying carbon levels of the original material. Such blades are reputed to be tough, resistant to shattering, and capable of being honed to a sharp, resilient edge.

Our blade is made of Damascus steel that is made from more than 256 layers of hand forged steel plates under low carbon and high-temperature conditions and cooled down at a very slow rate. The resulting alloy holds sharpness for a long time and can be used for tough work.

TIPS & PRECAUTIONS:
